This is a vintage 1985 Folio Society edition originally published in George Orwell's classic political allegory, Animal farm. There are many    line drawings by Quentin Blake, most famous for illustrating Roald Dahl's book. It is a slim book.

The book is in very good condition with printed boards. The spine is  sunned with some age spotting but the title is clear. The corners are good. Light rubbing to the spine ends. 

The binding is tight and there is no lean. There are no marks or inscriptions.

The slipcase has a textured beige paper cover. Some barely noticeable light tanning to the open edges and spine as you might expect in a book of this age. It is structurally excellent.

All in all this is a very nice example of this classic novel and would make a nice addition to any Folio Society collection or an attractive decorative book.
